You sign in with your existing Googleaccount via OAuth, and that's the only sign-in method. Linking LinkedInis an optional post-signup step (rolling out) that adds a verification badge; it's never a way to log in. We never ask for government IDs, photos of IDs, SSNs, immigration documents, or scans of any official paperwork.
What we store:
- Display name + email (from your Google account)
- Profile photo (the one you already use on Google)
- A hashed account identifier we use to match listings to you
What we never store:
- Passwords (Google handles authentication)
- ID numbers, SSNs, immigration document data
- Biometric data or document scans
Data lives in Google Cloud Firestore (US region), encrypted at rest and in transit. You can request a full export or full deletion at any time from Account → Profile.
