What makes a good safe meetup spot?
Look for these
- Public, indoor, well-lit at all hours you might use it
- High pedestrian traffic and visible security cameras
- Plenty of parking near the entrance
- Staff or shopkeepers present and reachable
- Cell signal strong enough to call out
Avoid these
- Empty parking lots, side alleys, or back entrances
- Private homes, hotel rooms, or storage units
- Late-night meetups in low-traffic locations
- Anywhere the seller insists you come alone or after hours
These are suggestions, not ChaiandCity facilities. Cameras and security at every location belong to the venue or local police department. We don't access, monitor, or pull footage from any of them. If something feels unsafe, leave; if you're in danger, call 911 directly. See the Security FAQ.
